Women’s Six Nations Championship identity
The Women’s Six Nations Championship today announced a series of initiatives that seek to develop Women’s Rugby and to increase the profile of the Women’s Six Nations Championship.
All 15 Women’s Six Nations Championship matches will now be produced to a high quality standard for television and this will ensure that each country’s matches are available live either on television or streamed live on Six Nations YouTube or Facebook channels. There will also be new dedicated social channels.
As part of the new initiatives around the Women’s Championship, Six Nations Rugby commissioned the creation of a new dedicated Women’s Six Nations Championship brand identity. Creative Midfield were appointed to design the new identity which will help generate exposure for the Women’s Six Nations Championship as a separate and distinct international rugby event in its own right, while retaining links to the core Six Nations brand.
John Feehan, Chief Executive of Six Nations Rugby said: “This is an exciting development for Women’s Rugby and it will give us a great base to work on for the future.”
Perry Rendell, MD of Creative Midfield said: “It’s been a real pleasure to have worked with Six Nations Rugby to create the unique identity for the Women’s Six Nations Championship. We are excited to continue this work and to watch the upcoming live matches.”
