HSBC are the Official Bank for The Wimbledon Championships. The 2014 sponsorship campaign was titled ‘Get Closer to The Championships’.
Creative Midfield designed a responsive microsite for HSBC that resided within the Wimbledon website. For HSBC cardholders and general tennis fans, the microsite detailed information about the HSBC sponsor activations both within SW12 and around the UK and also about the HSBC brand ambassadors Tim Henman, Lindsay Davenport and Goran Ivanisevic.
Alongside the microsite we also created an online prize draw to allow fans the chance to win Centre Court tickets and to ‘Get Closer to The Championships.’ Entrants were able to select options to personalise their day such as dining experiences, drinks and meeting VIPs. The prize draw generated an increase in entrants of over 200% from the previous year.
